Produktbeschreibung:
Masterbatch refers to finely dispersed plastic colorants composed of a high proportion of pigments or additives combined with thermoplastic resin. These color concentrates require excellent wetting and dispersion with the chosen resin and must be highly compatible with the coloring materials. Essentially, masterbatch consists of a pigment carrier combined with additives to produce uniform and high-quality plastic coloring compounds.
Funktionsprinzip:
The dedicated masterbatch dryer uses heat energy (such as hot water, low-pressure steam, or thermal oil) circulated through a jacketed shell to heat the inner chamber where the masterbatch is dried. Driven by a motor, the slowly rotating vessel continuously mixes the masterbatch, improving heat transfer and drying efficiency. Under vacuum conditions, the vapor pressure at the masterbatch surface drops, allowing moisture (or solvents) to evaporate rapidly. The evaporated vapors are removed by a vacuum pump and recovered promptly. Moisture inside the masterbatch migrates to the surface continuously, where it evaporates and is discharged, enabling a fast and efficient drying cycle.
